Emsisoft Company announced the release of an update for Emsisoft Emergency Kit 4.0 – a portable set of tools to detect and remove viruses. Recent release of Emsisoft Emergency Kit 4.0 offers significantly improved cleaning mechanism based on the commercial antivirus Emsisoft Anti-Malware and more reliably and efficiently removing security threats. Redesigned and improved signature database provides savings of up to 80 MB of RAM when scanning.

More compact signatures in the Emsisoft Emergency Kit 4.0 also reduces the amount of network traffic. In addition, other improvements performance package provides a significant speed boost software updates.

In the new version, users will receive a set of four major components: a graphical virus scanner, the equivalent of a command-line application Emsisoft HiJackFree to assist in removing software manually and module Emsisoft BlitzBlank to erase protected files, registry keys and drivers.

Being a portable solution, tools Emsisoft Emergency Kit 4.0 can be extracted to your hard drive as a desktop and on the USB-device. The second option is best if you work for different computers and you want to ensure the security of your data on each of them.

Although less popular than the leading antivirus software on the market, Emsisoft Emergency Kit 4.0 is not inferior to them in power and provides an intuitive user interface that provides easy access to all the tools of the program.

Emsisoft Emergency Kit 4.0 supports 32 – and 64-bit versions of Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8 and is free for home and non-commercial users.
