Symantec updates Norton 2013 product line

Symantec CorpAmerican developer Symantec has announced the update of its line of products to protect your PC on a Windows platform to version 20.4.

Solutions Norton Antivirus 2013 v20.4, Norton Internet Security 2013 v20.4 and  Norton 360 2013 v20.4 can boast mainly fixes a variety of “bugs” and some user interface enhancements.

Perhaps the most noticeable change in Norton 20.4 for users who have installed the app is also free Malwarebytes Anti-Malware as additional protection will fix that no longer allows Norton to block and tag MBAM as incompatible software.

The updated lineup developers Symantec also eliminated the problem in which the annotation Safe Web, reporting a degree of security and privacy of sites in the search results are not shown in the U.S. version of the search engine Google. In addition, fixed a “bug” that caused incorrect display on and off intrusion prevention system (Intrusion Prevention) during the opening of Norton AntiSpam from within Microsoft Outlook.

English-speaking users will find in version 20.4, the new widget – Backup – added to the main interface page, while the widget Norton Safe Web, on the contrary, removed, although it continues to function and displayed inside the web-browser compatible. Backup widget is related to Symantec platform for cloud backup, sync and share data, known as the Norton Zone.

Two more fixes visibility buttons in high contrast mode and ensure continuous scrolling display the toolbar Scan – ‘Scan Items’.

Updated products Norton Antivirus 2013 v20.4.0, Norton Internet Security 2013 and Norton 360 v20.4.0 v20.4.0 is available as a free download in the test mode, and supports Windows XP and above.
