As follows from the security notices published by Cisco developers on Wednesday, November 5, the company eliminated the dangerous vulnerabilities in four models of its routers series RV, intended for use by small businesses.

Problems addressed devices include: Cisco RV120W Wireless-N VPN Firewall with outdated firmware (version to 1.0.5.9), Cisco RV180 VPN Router – up to version 1.0.4.14, as well as Cisco RV180W Wireless-N Multifunction VPN Router – up to 1.0.4.14. There are three vulnerabilities fixed in the Cisco product (Adaptive Security Appliance): Smart Call Home Digital Certificate Validation Vulnerability; VPN Failover Command Injection Vulnerability; Clientless SSL VPN Information Disclosure and Denial of Service Vulnerability.

Representatives of the company Cisco warn users about fake news, which often spread through social networks. Often spread false information that are passed off as genuine, so crooks manipulate information, which is published in the media.

Cisco analyst Jean Gordon Kocienda proposed a scenario in which a terrorist group can use misinformation in social networks to spread fear among the people and guide people to places which would later be attacked.
